Chris saw nothing, his head hurt and he felt like he was falling, but yet he wasn’t falling at all, the ground never moved nor the clothes on his back, they did not shake in the falling winds. Faint Whispers could be heard, the faint pressing of keyboard keys clicked over and over. “Assignment 3 is due in next week.” a voice called and a number of sighs and sly comments followed. suddenly the sounds vanished and Chris finally saw a speck of bright light, it was barely a needle width light but yet he had to shield his eyes. it started to grow and grow even brighter and now Chris was falling. his clothes shook and flew across him. He could see land flying towards him, he couldn’t move nor scream when he finally reached the land and he saw no more.
The Cliff side was sharp and rugged, the sharp rocks seemed like spears all pointing towards the Sun floating at its peak. the wind had claimed down from the strength of the morning. the silence of the Cliffs was broken by a great crack which came echoing through the rocks, it sounded like 100 fireworks blasting together.
the source of the crack came from a blinding light aside the long winding road through the Cliffs. a figure was thrown from the bright light onto the rough road below it. it was Chris, another figure dropped next to him and they both lay still for a time.
Finally Chris woke up, his head beaming in pain. “Ow…” he whispered grasping his forehead. He really didn’t want to get up, but the cold was growing and making his skin chill. “What the hell.” he said making an attempt to stand, his eyes finally focused and revealed his situation to its extent.
“Oh my lord.” he couldn’t believe it. he just couldn’t understand why and what happened before.
his legs left like needles poked and stabbed them when he finally stood up.
He spotted the figure which lay behind him almost instantly when he turned around “Jason? Jason!” he shouted as he stumbled over to his friend “Jason wake up! come on Janson!” he called again. the passed out Jason finally showed signs of life and quickly sprung up in surprise “wow, what?” Chris panicked again “i don’t know. i’m positively shitting myself. its fucking cold.” he pulled his scarf tighter around his neck trying to block out the ice cold.
“Chris?” Jason asked carefully getting to his feet, he got up much faster than Chris “Ow, Whats, where are we?” he asked Chris, at that moment Jason spotted a wooden sign post in front of them.
“Grimalore, 10L” he looked confused but that was nothing on Chris’s reaction “Jason oh my god, Jason this… this isn’t fucking possible.” he approached the sign his shock was confirmed as below the message it read “Goldenhold, 500L”.
